The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Konstantin Pančur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Erruki's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Erruki in the 11th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Godfredo Erruki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konstantin Pančur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Konstantin Pančur made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jeronimo Gaufred sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Gaufred got free with Konstantin Pančur in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match, Roberto Eutor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Konstantin Pančur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's attentive Pedro Luiz Arantes managed to snatch the ball when Constantino Eguntsenti made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Jeronimo Gaufred could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Konstantin Pančur however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Godfredo Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Erruki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantin Pančur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Gaufred stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the HIT Gorica defense, Godfredo Erruki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantin Pančur. The HIT Gorica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantin Pančur should have stopped the shot. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Narbut. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Narbut didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roberto Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Konstantin Pančur didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Jeronimo Gaufred shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Istok Šabotićs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Virgilio Quentin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Istok Šabotić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Quentin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Godfredo Erruki. But to his dismay, Godfredo Erruki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Wlodzimierz Wlodyga replaced Slawomir Gargasz. Hector Azeari took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantin Pančur. Konstantin Pančur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Hector Azeari put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantin Pančur. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Jimeno Danel was substituted for Benedykt Narbut. Konstantin Pančur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Gaufred in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when László Tar got free with Virgilio Quentin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jeronimo Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Istok Šabotić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Guillelmus kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Venancio Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while HIT Gorica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
