When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Mel made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Williams Ferrari. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hipolito Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLATHU's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jerônimo Maranhense made a huge save. After 56 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Williams Ferrari. Hipolito Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jerônimo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Americo Rozarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedrinho Castro's late challenge caught a CLATHU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Castro helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Castro. Jerônimo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Mel in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes, Nitra FC's Durval Tasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Peter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nitra FC reached it. Betinho Batista made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Javier Innocenzio however managed to control. Betinho Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Yuri Tutorskiy notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CLATHU's Jacobo Peter. Jacobo Peter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
