Leszek Falke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tyge Oehlerich made a huge save. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pheonix FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarūnas Saponka was slow to take the kick. During this time Zielonka Gdansk's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Zielonka Gdansk's corner Jarūnas Saponka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tyge Oehlerich quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Svenn Gurliph got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Pheonix FC's Tyge Oehlerich got control of the ball when Leszek Falke tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zielonka Gdansk's Leszek Falke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tyge Oehlerich. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Jan Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einer Therkelsen in the 33rd minute of play. Mariusz Flis charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Flis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Zielonka Gdansk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pheonix FC:s goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Leszek Falke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tyge Oehlerich was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Sitko got free with Tyge Oehlerich in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 任正振 made a kick off. Tyge Oehlerich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Falke, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tyge Oehlerich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Ling Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tyge Oehlerich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Falke in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match, Bjarke Amstorp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Tomaszewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Zielonka Gdansk getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Leszek Falke hit a great ball. Zielonka Gdansk made a substitution. Ganga Banga replaced Gottfrid Asklöv. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zielonka Gdansk had won after a very even match.
