The audience thought a goal was coming when Leszek Falke got free with Teo Costante in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Benvide in the 24th minute of play. Zielonka Gdansk were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Mama que Sabor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jarūnas Saponka took the corner. The corner ended in Jarūnas Saponka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mama que Sabor's Teo Costante did a great save. In the 30th minute, Guillermo Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Qiu Ling Lang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Costante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Leszek Falke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mama que Sabor's Teo Costante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Mama que Sabor defense, Qiu Ling Lang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Costante. The Mama que Sabor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Costante should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Falke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Mama que Sabor's Sandro Tonali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Tomaszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Qiu Ling Lang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters rose to their feet, but Qiu Ling Lang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Costante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Mama que Sabor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen to maneuver through the defense. Teo Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Falke in the 67th minute of play. Jan Tomaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Benvide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
