Ke Xiong Chen took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio Bezerra. Phoenix Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Davor Šuker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luís Fábio Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ke Xiong Chen went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vinícius Luz made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ke Xiong Chen got free with Luís Fábio Bezerra in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Phoenix Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sporting Burgas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
