The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Napoleon Dziatkowski took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josue Ayala. Josue Ayala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Michael Iurisch was a little too slow when Timur Chichko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 13th minute, Napoleon Dziatkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jagiellonia Bialystok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience was convinced that Napoleon Dziatkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josue Ayala was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Josue Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Dziatkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Timur Chichko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Iurisch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josue Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Dziatkowski in the 27th minute of play. After 39 played minutes, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Fabian Sienkiewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josue Ayala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jagiellonia Bialystok reached it. Josue Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Dziatkowski in the 41st minute of the match. Michael Iurisch made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Timur Chichko sent off a good shot on target. Timur Chichko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
Michael Iurisch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Blatun in the 50th minute of play. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Napoleon Dziatkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Chichko came free, but Michael Iurisch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Charlie Singer got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Michael Iurisch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Chichko in the 67th minute of the match. Aleksey Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 70 played minutes Jagiellonia Bialystok got a freekick which was hit by Sören Jansson. In the 71st match minute, Jagiellonia Bialystok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Jansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Napoleon Dziatkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jagiellonia Bialystok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Michael Iurisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gennadiy Blatun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Aleksey Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Iurisch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Gennadiy Blatun got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tudor Sălcudeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Iurisch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Dariusz Praski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Josue Ayala didn't even have to move. In the 91st minute, Tudor Sălcudeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Iurisch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Tudor Sălcudeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Sălcudeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Iurisch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charlie Singer kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 97th play minutes Tudor Sălcudeanu shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Michael Iurisch and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Феникс Санкт-Петербург had won after a very even match.
