The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GARIBALDI FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Iwo Posadzki scored to the left of an out of position Rene Llorian, making the score, 1-0. Rene Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Posadzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Genaro Constancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwo Posadzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Llorian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwo Posadzki ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goalkeeper Rene Llorian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwo Posadzki. Rene Llorian was a little too slow when Iwo Posadzki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 5-0. When Genaro Constancio fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARIBALDI FC's protests and gave Genaro Constancio a yellow card for diving instead. Genaro Constancio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rene Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Posadzki in the 32nd minute. Iwo Posadzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Llorian having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwo Posadzki in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute UÅ Mästerbotten were awarded a corner. Iwo Kilar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on UÅ Mästerbotten's corner Iwo Kilar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rene Llorian quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Colas in the 56th minute of play forced UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Silbestre came free, but Karl-Magnus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Iwo Posadzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
