In the 8th minute, Mehmet Osman Tuncal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Guiñazú FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Guiñazú FC's Ali Modrić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Mao Feng Qiang took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Armando Monico to make any attempt to save it. After 33 played minutes Guiñazú FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Millan. After a defensive mix-up in Guiñazú FC's zone, Aşır Zabit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Monico came out of the goal and Aşır Zabit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manchester City FC's Aygün Çelikkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Modrić in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Manchester City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeki Kirtekin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Clemente Emesto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Manchester City FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mehmet Osman Tuncal hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Modrić made a kick off. Aygün Çelikkan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Clemente Emesto sent off a good shot on target. Guiñazú FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ali Modrić in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Guiñazú FC's corner Ali Modrić fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aygün Çelikkan quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute Guiñazú FC were awarded a corner. Ali Modrić went to the cornerflag to take it. Ali Modrić made a great header on Guiñazú FC's corner, it was just that Manchester City FC's Aygün Çelikkan managed to reach the ball for a save. Israel Gaza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Aygün Çelikkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Millan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mao Feng Qiang in the 67th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Armando Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Modrić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aygün Çelikkan having to interfere. With a little luck, Manchester City FC's Aygün Çelikkan got control of the ball when Ali Modrić tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Clemente Emesto got a free kick in the 94th minute. With an all-out effort, Guiñazú FC's Aygün Çelikkan threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Modrić, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guiñazú FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
