The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olov Groth came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi. But to his dismay, Narciso Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eloy Leguizamón hit a great ball. Leonides Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Groth having to interfere. Olov Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 13th minute of play. When Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Snipers's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Narciso Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Groth was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Bertassi got free with Olov Groth in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Bertassis short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Olov Groth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Claudio Echeverri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Groth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Snipers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Olov Groth made a huge save. Olov Groth made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Narciso Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. Olov Groth didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 39th minute Saverio Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Groth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Roland Haglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukas Moberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Salvator took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Groth. Olov Groth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 57th minute, Narciso Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Groth was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. FC Snipers's Olov Groth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Bertassi in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Bertassi in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Groth saved FC Snipers from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Snipers's zone, Leandro Salvator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Groth came out of the goal and Leandro Salvator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Bertassi came free, but Olov Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Gavino Egoi notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FC Snipers's Olov Groth. Olov Groth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cable a Tierra's Leonardo Sigali was substituted for Paulão Laguna. Gavino Egoi scored 9-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Groth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Gavino Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Echeverri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Olov Groth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Olov Groth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Claudio Echeverri made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Snipers's Olov Groth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Snipers's Olov Groth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Osorio in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Groth was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gavino Egoi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cable a Tierra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Egoi couldn't finish the play. Cable a Tierra's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
