In the 40thth minute of the game Benito Licerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc eendenpad's Andreas Boegaerts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If 梅斌明 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, fc eendenpad's Bart Vrints sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 贺镇树 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Steff Van den Berchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When fc eendenpad's Dimitri Fouquet in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A nice corner shot did that Barnaba Bara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 贺镇树 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 莫凡天's late challenge caught a fc eendenpad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 莫凡天 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute Dedé Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 贺镇树 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benito Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
