After some careless play in the Newcastle United F.C. defense, Ben Şah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasmus Sigman. The Newcastle United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Sigman should have stopped the shot. Rasmus Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, IFK Fjärås's Ben Şah made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rasmus Sigman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kristoffer Västerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Walmarsson in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Brites in the 28th minute of play forced IFK Fjärås's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ben Şah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rasmus Sigman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Şah in the 36th minute of play forced Newcastle United F.C.'s goalkeeper Rasmus Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Brites, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Newcastle United F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Fjärås were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Ben Şah made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Fábio Brites made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Fjärås's Kristoffer Västerberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute Joakim Vennerlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Västerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Allan Björk put in a rough tackle. Kristoffer Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Vennerlund in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute of the game Artur Kiewra made a throw-in which Isac Walmarsson played forward. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United F.C.'s goalkeeper Rasmus Sigman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 minutes Newcastle United F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Erik Rosén who took care of the corner kick. The corner led IFK Fjärås's Karl-Erik Rosén to fire away a dangerous shot which Rasmus Sigman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Recep Talha Keskin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rasmus Sigman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Fjärås. IFK Fjärås made a substitution. Johannes Kilström replaced Ivan Överman. Kristoffer Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Vennerlund in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United F.C.'s Urban Jansson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Bengt-Åke Ekerot made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Isac Walmarsson. Kristoffer Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Brites in the 83rd minute of play. When Bengt-Åke Ekerot fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United F.C.'s protests and gave Bengt-Åke Ekerot a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Newcastle United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Ekerot. The supporters of IFK Fjärås booed when Newcastle United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Brodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. IFK Fjärås had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
