The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Brzakala in the 2nd minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Lennart Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Lilla Jordberga BK's Panagiotis Kissas threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simão Rosado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute, Thomas-Jan Thomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lilla Jordberga BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Melas in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Johansson saved Lilla Jordberga BK from getting behind. Panagiotis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotis Melas in the 36th minute of the match. Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Rosado in the 38th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Panagiotis Kissas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Edström in the 51st minute of play. Lilla Jordberga BK's Lennart Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Lilla Jordberga BK from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Fotis Melas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lilla Jordberga BK's Lennart Johansson. Lennart Johansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lipochσrion FC's Stathis Aggelakos got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. Lilla Jordberga BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emrah Alatay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lipochσrion FC's Emrah Alatay to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennart Johansson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute Jorge Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Kissas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas-Jan Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
