The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Salazar in the 2nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lv Zhou in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Salazar in the 4th minute of the match. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Salazar in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Zhou in the 6th minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lv Zhou in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Astudillo saved San Lorenzo 11 from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Baba Ali Ali Riza came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Salazar. LOS BUITRES's Truman Harrington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Quirze in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Lv Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS BUITRES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lv Zhou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Boğaç Altuncuoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Lorenzo 11's Claudio Bucciarelli was substituted for Santiago Sidro. A collision led to San Lorenzo 11 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Boğaç Altuncuoğlu hit a great ball. Lv Zhou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Astudillo came out and tried to block the shot, but Lv Zhou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. Aurelio Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lv Zhou's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes LOS BUITRES got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Lixandru. Truman Harrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boğaç Altuncuoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boğaç Altuncuoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Lv Zhou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aurelio Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lv Zhou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Astudillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After taking down the ball on LOS BUITRES's corner Christian Kellbom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Astudillo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Lv Zhou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS BUITRES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 95th minute, Fan Xiang Kuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
