Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Tiro Aureo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes of play, Willy Brown FC's Guilherme Cruz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Morro Grande E.C's zone, Tiro Aureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Loyola came out of the goal and Tiro Aureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiro Aureo got free with Willian Loyola in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Clóvis Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Duarte in the 22nd minute of play. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Willy Brown FC's Elpidio Samuel. But to his dismay, Elpidio Samuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tiro Aureo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Willian Loyola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. César Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Willy Brown FC booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Morro Grande E.C's zone, Guilherme Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Loyola came out of the goal and Guilherme Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiro Aureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steve Brayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by César Vinhas. Willy Brown FC's Atilano Rico couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morro Grande E.C. Willian Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Samuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Cruz in the 58th minute of the match. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Willy Brown FC's Elpidio Samuel. But to his dismay, Elpidio Samuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 63 minutes into the game, Steve Brayer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Willian Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Elpidio Samuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The supporters of Willy Brown FC booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Guilherme Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Reynaldo Tepedino hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Steve Brayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Willy Brown FC's Steve Brayer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Willian Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Brayer in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Brayer in the 88th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
