After some careless play in the Kanaryalar defense, Måns Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Ruisko. The Kanaryalar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Ruisko should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Stig-Arne Deckberg with Måns Sandberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 13 minutes into the match, Kanaryalar's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Sandberg came free, but Adolfo Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Bordeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norrlands Athen were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Kanaryalar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filcho Slivkov took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Huang Fei Ting managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vural Sadri in the 21st minute. Adolfo Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Olle Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Kanaryalar booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Lebron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vural Sadri in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Safet Hands, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adolfo Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Lebron went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Norrlands Athen were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Kanaryalar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filcho Slivkov took the corner. After taking down the ball on Norrlands Athen's corner Filcho Slivkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adolfo Ruisko quite easily take care of the ball. Kanaryalar's Adolfo Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Lebron in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vural Sadri made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Qian Zhen Sheng. Adolfo Ruisko made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Måns Sandberg sent off a good shot on target. Mikael Vikström made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kjell Wennersten. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huang Fei Ting got free with Adolfo Ruisko in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kanaryalar's Adolfo Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Fei Ting in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Lebron in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Ruisko saved Kanaryalar from getting behind. Adolfo Ruisko came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Huang Fei Ting took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adolfo Ruisko. Kanaryalar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adolfo Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Sandberg in the 69th minute. Kanaryalar made a substitution. Alvar Aspengren replaced Vural Sadri. Kanaryalar's Per Berggren was substituted for Mikael Vikström. Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt was substituted for Wieslaw Wos. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson was substituted for Måns Sandberg. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Per Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanaryalar's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Safet Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Edvin Fernkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Safet Hands. Norrlands Athen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvin Fernkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calle Bergfelt got free with Adolfo Ruisko in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Ruisko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qian Zhen Sheng in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Kanaryalar's Adolfo Ruisko got control of the ball when Gilbert Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Qian Zhen Sheng got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Per Berggren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Safet Hands skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Ruisko. That made the score 1-5 after 96 minutes of play.
