Måns Sandberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Måns Sandberg got free with Kenneth Biörkquist in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenneth Biörkquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Måns Sandberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Svante Petersson charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Svante Petersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Håkan Viklund got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist got control of the ball when Måns Sandberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Fei Ting came free, but Kenneth Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henry Grönberg in the 51 minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Kenneth Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Edvin Kullander suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 82 minutes into the game, Qian Zhen Sheng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bloodthirsty FC the free kick. Qian Zhen Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Bloodthirsty FC made a substitution. Nils-Åke Nordin replaced Henry Grönberg. In the 84th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qian Zhen Sheng to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Biörkquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bloodthirsty FC defense, Calle Bergfelt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Biörkquist. The Bloodthirsty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Biörkquist should have stopped the shot.
