An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Etor in the 3rd minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Fors hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Arroyito FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Cheetah Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Etor took the corner. Gervasio Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Claes Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arroyito FC's Gabriel-Omar Santirso got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Valter Mellin made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Navarro Montoya. Arroyito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Claes Caspersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's Dick Forssell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Etor got free with Claes Caspersson in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valter Mellin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Navarro Montoya having to make a save. Carlos Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Mellin in the 41st minute of play.

With an all-out effort, Cheetah Team's Carlos Navarro Montoya threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valter Mellin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute Gabriel-Omar Santirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Santirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tim Askberg kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Mellin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Navarro Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Fritz Grönlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Mellin came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Kvita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Miroslav Kvita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Caspersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Moises Rojelio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Rojelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arroyito FC's Moises Rojelio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Fredrik Fors kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Rubi. Venancio Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Mellin in the 93rd minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cheetah Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cheetah Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
