Ground Control's Fabien Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ground Control from getting a goal against them. Ground Control's Fabien Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Daudet in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Weltevedren's Camillo Casadei got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Anton Karakevych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Vazquez having to interfere. Fabien Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mieszko Piszczor in the 26th minute. Camillo Casadei charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camillo Casadei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Weltevedren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Casadei to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Roberto Rojelio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Vazquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Mieszko Piszczor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weltevedren's supporters rose to their feet, but Mieszko Piszczor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Wiltord. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Daudet in the 43rd minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Nunes made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Rodrigo Daudet sent off a good shot on target.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Karakevych to make the kick off. Anton Karakevych made a great header on Ground Control's corner, it was just that Weltevedren's Tadeo Vazquez managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Anton Karakevych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Vazquez was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Karakevych ran back to his position shaking his head. Fortunato Di Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fortunato Di Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Weltevedren getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fortunato Di Martino hit a great ball. Tostão Donato hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ground Control eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
