Tadeo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Cinalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs booed when Weltevedren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Casadei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, CA Boca Jrs's Ermanno Marrone tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Weltevedren's Mieszko Piszczor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Alfieri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alfredo Toschi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Feliz got free with Tadeo Vazquez in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Weltevedren's Tadeo Vazquez got control of the ball when Nunez Feliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeo Vazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anoush Rott in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Mieszko Piszczor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adriano Alfieri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo Cinalli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Emiliano Di Luzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Vazquez having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Emiliano Di Luzio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Weltevedren's Tadeo Vazquez. Tadeo Vazquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Della Francesca came free, but Adriano Alfieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Marinetti hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mieszko Piszczor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Adriano Alfieri made a huge save. The CA Boca Jrs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Weltevedren's performance. The match ended with a win for Weltevedren.
