In the 4th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes Guqueri F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolás Grau who took care of the corner kick. Guqueri F.C.'s Jardel Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Guqueri F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute Nicolás Grau suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Benito Jerrold's late challenge caught a Orihuela Club de Fútbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Jerrold helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Guqueri F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. If Fernando Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Manzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Guqueri F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Manzano came free, but Jardel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Manzano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jardel Carvalho. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Manzano to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guqueri F.C.'s goalkeeper Jardel Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fernando Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Guqueri F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Don Cabezon came free, but Jardel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea got control of the ball when Mateo Taurino tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fernando Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jardel Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Cabezon in the 71st minute of play. After 74 played minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Dominic Toretto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Manzano in the 79th minute of play forced Guqueri F.C.'s goalkeeper Jardel Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Guqueri F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cornelio Remicio hit a great ball. Jardel Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Manzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Fernando Manzano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jardel Carvalho. Guqueri F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Manzano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fidel Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fernando Manzano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jardel Carvalho having to make a save. After 92 played minutes Guqueri F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Perfecto. Cornelio Remicio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guqueri F.C.'s zone, Nicasio Litago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Carvalho came out of the goal and Nicasio Litago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guqueri F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orihuela Club de Fútbol.
