In the 2nd match minute, Terra Scaniae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Lingren to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 4 in the game by Arnauld Van Eycke from a close distance when the talented Khodadad Khan managed to make a qualified save. Terra Scaniae's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnauld Van Eycke got free with Khodadad Khan in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Terra Scaniae from getting a goal against them. Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirin Brauer in the 9th minute of play. Khodadad Khan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirin Brauer in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Mathis Van der Perren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khodadad Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khodadad Khan made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Arnauld Van Eycke sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Quirin Brauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winksele 2016's supporters rose to their feet, but Quirin Brauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khodadad Khan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnauld Van Eyckes short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Khodadad Khan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ben Dillemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Gunnarsson's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Arnauld Van Eycke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khodadad Khan. Terra Scaniae's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnauld Van Eycke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Winksele 2016 were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Terra Scaniae's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnauld Van Eycke took the corner. Winksele 2016's Arnauld Van Eycke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Khodadad Khan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathis Van der Perren in the 30th minute of play. Arnauld Van Eycke succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 36th playminute. Khodadad Khan was a little too slow when Mathis Van der Perren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 43rd play minutes Arnauld Van Eycke shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Khodadad Khan and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kent Gunnarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Khodadad Khan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnauld Van Eycke's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Van Eycke in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khodadad Khan saved Terra Scaniae from getting behind. After some careless play in the Terra Scaniae defense, Sylven Van Der Meeren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khodadad Khan. The Terra Scaniae fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khodadad Khan should have stopped the shot. After 71 played minutes Winksele 2016 got a freekick which was hit by Matias De Cat. Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. Khodadad Khan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnauld Van Eycke's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Arnauld Van Eycke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khodadad Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Van Eycke in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khodadad Khan saved Terra Scaniae from getting behind. Michael Heggert's late challenge caught a Winksele 2016's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Heggert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute of the match Arnauld Van Eycke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khodadad Khan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matias De Cat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Quirin Brauer made a precise shot to the right of Khodadad Khan. Terra Scaniae's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Quirin Brauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Khodadad Khan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Arnauld Van Eycke put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Khodadad Khan. There was no doubt that Winksele 2016 were the better team. Winksele 2016's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
