Anselmo Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. André Luís Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anselmo Lucila made a huge save. Amadeo Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of los nadies booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Schmidt in the 30th minute of play. Edgard de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Martxel in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes Montesclarense E.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ola Bukaka who took care of the corner kick. los nadies's Ola Bukaka was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgard de Almeida in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Medeiros in the 35th minute of play forced los nadies's goalkeeper Anselmo Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes los nadies got a freekick which was hit by Osman Nuri Enver. 42 minutes into the match, André Luís Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Lucila. los nadies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luís Schmidt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 45 minutes into the game, los nadies's Amadeo Martxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Montesclarense E.C. from getting a goal against them. The Montesclarense E.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching los nadies's performance. The match ended with a win for los nadies.
