Club Sportivo Italiano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Gelacio ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Maquina 9-12-18's Dario Gelacio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Stephen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Natalio Bieito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reynaldo Stephen came out and tried to block the shot, but Natalio Bieito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Hayles in the 19th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Bieito got free with Reynaldo Stephen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Pes in the 28th minute of play. In the 37th minute Theo Hayles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vachon came free, but Reynaldo Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Vachon. Reynaldo Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Vachon was the one to do the kick off. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 51st minute of the match. La Maquina 9-12-18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dario Gelacio in the 52nd minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Natalio Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 80th minute, Basilio Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Gelacio, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 92nd minute, Natalio Bieito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Moberg. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club Sportivo Italiano players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
