The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Pisarczyk came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Patryk Snaza hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Snaza in the 8th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotr Lech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Lordi's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Santa Margarita were awarded a corner. Enzo Peruxu went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawel Kochanowski got free with Pontus Nordström in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Witomir Pisarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Piotr Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 18th minute of play. Piotr Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Kochanowski in the 27th minute of the match. Pawel Kochanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pontus Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Kochanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Pawel Kochanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Wincent Gruchacz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Irons Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Margarita the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Wincent Gruchacz got a free kick in the 45th minute. Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Lordi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Babicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Nordström having to interfere. Piotr Lech made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gerardo Lordi sent off a good shot on target. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 60th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Damazy Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Pisarczyk came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Kochanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Gerardo Lordi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Piotr Lech. The goal made the score 0-1. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Mauro Icardi replaced Witomir Pisarczyk. Santa Margarita's Wendell Davids was substituted for Enzo Peruxu. 79 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Piotr Lech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piotr Lech made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mauro Icardi sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Santa Margarita were awarded a corner. David Celio went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that David Celio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Piotr Lech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pawel Kochanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pontus Nordström came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by The Irons Chorzów's Patryk Snaza. But to his dismay, Patryk Snaza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Pawel Kochanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piotr Lech was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Santa Margarita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
