In the 17th minute, Qiao Ang Le ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Chupan Mangas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal and Chupan Mangas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ştefan Vâtcă came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Umberto Cunha could save by the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Medeiros in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Leiva came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Rareș Papadima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Umberto Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Groll came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Sharkin in the 39th minute of the match. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Sharkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pégasus F. C. booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Negruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pégasus F. C.'s Qiao Ang Le got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After 50 played minutes Pégasus F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Groll. Lorenzo Leiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Vulpăşin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Bebeto Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. Xande Sharkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Adrian Czornomaz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Corneliu Vulpăşin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 66th minute, Gilberto Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Kurt Groll took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Papadima in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Samuca Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Kurt Groll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Kurt Groll recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Kurt Groll showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 82 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s Kurt Groll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneliu Vulpăşin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gilberto Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Marian Gondela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin, 0-8. Pégasus F. C. played a much better game than Unicorns ™ and deserved their victory. The Unicorns ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
