The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Ben Gilliam. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Leiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tracy Shah in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Ben Gilliam. Qiao Ang Le struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Shaki Conn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tracy Shah in the 17th minute of play. Umberto Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Lucas Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Cunha having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiao Ang Le. After 25 minutes of play, ForestFire's Lucas Navarro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Gilliam in the 28th minute of play forced Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qiao Ang Le's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Shaki Conn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. ForestFire's Shaki Conn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Gilliam in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Jose Hoyt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qiao Ang Le scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shaki Conn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tracy Shah kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Qiao Ang Le stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaki Conn came out of the goal and Qiao Ang Le tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Pégasus F. C.'s Xande Sharkin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danial Dunbar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Ang Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Tracy Shah notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha. Umberto Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Samuca Tepedino replaced Xande Sharkin. Pégasus F. C.'s Adrian Czornomaz was substituted for Qiao Ang Le. In the 62nd minute, Jose Hoyt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Soeiro in the 65th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tracy Shah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Umberto Cunha made a huge save. Shaki Conn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Soeiro in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Navarro in the 69th minute of play forced Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Navarro in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute Lucas Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danial Dunbar to maneuver through the defense. Shaki Conn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 78th minute of the match. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Czornomaz in the 84th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ForestFire were furious when Sal Chamberlain was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 85 minutes into the game, one of ForestFire:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ForestFire:s Shaki Conn showed great skill when he stopped Kurt Groll:s penalty. In the 89th minute Samuca Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Groll came free, but Shaki Conn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Adrian Czornomaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Czornomaz in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shaki Conn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ForestFire supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ForestFire would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
