The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Eustacio Inko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip McNamara. Wyoming Cowboys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Inko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 8 minutes of play, Islas FC's Norberto Admon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip McNamara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Sven Billock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bennvar Ben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Wyoming Cowboys's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Tonete came free, but Philip McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Wyoming Cowboys got a corner. Islas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ragnar McNamara ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wyoming Cowboys's Ragnar McNamara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vicente Ipar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34thth minute of the game Eustacio Inko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wyoming Cowboys's Philip McNamara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven Billock's late challenge caught a Islas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Billock helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Sven Billock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Islas FC's Eustacio Inko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip McNamara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After the first half Islas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bennvar Ben was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Wilhelm Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Tonete in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip McNamara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Philip McNamara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Norberto Admon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Wyoming Cowboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Inko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Philip McNamara. Philip McNamara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Philip McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Philip McNamara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Tonete. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Tonete in the 74th minute of play forced Wyoming Cowboys's goalkeeper Philip McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Islas FC's Benedicto Tonete made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Inko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Wilhelm Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ipar having to interfere. The Wyoming Cowboys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Islas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
