In the 14th minute Eurico Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Fausto Respaldizar got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Olympique Deleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Kléber Lira was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Xinto Guerrez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xinto Guerrez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Kléber Lira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Putte von der Putten. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dalton Ali hit a great ball. Kléber Lira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Putte von der Putten in the 23rd minute. When Gheorghe Uncu fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Deleon's protests and gave Gheorghe Uncu a yellow card for diving instead. Kléber Lira was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Putte von der Putten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kléber Lira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xinto Guerrez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Carlos Ruidio made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mora Liebana during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mora Liebana to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match, Maicon Pires tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rui Figueiras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kléber Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ruidio in the 54th minute of play. Kléber Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Putte von der Putten, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's Maicon Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Figueiras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Carlos Ruidio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DALO S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Rui Figueiras made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Eurico Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Putte von der Putten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Lira. Olympique Deleon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Putte von der Putten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Olympique Deleon's Kléber Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Fias in the 71st minute of play. Olympique Deleon's Gheorghe Uncu got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Gheorghe Uncu off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Gheorghe Uncu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Ruidio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacá Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Kléber Lira came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by DALO S.C.'s Putte von der Putten. But to his dismay, Putte von der Putten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Carlos Ruidio managed to get in a good position for a shot. DALO S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Ruidio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, DALO S.C.'s Carlos Ruidio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Lira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. When the referee ended the match the DALO S.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
