If Rafael da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrence Lawless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jairo Baraquiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Jairo Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Saldanha. Squadra Demarchi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nelson Vidal made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sandro Arruda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 34th minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Baraquiel in the 36th minute of the match. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saldanha should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Alagoano made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jairo Baraquiel notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Jairo Baraquiel made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Descamisados CF's Ludomir Kaider got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Adrian Txartiko had to leave the field with a concussion. 84 minutes into the game, Nelson Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Squadra Demarchi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Descamisados CF the free kick. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nelson Vidal hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Ludomir Kaider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Kaider got free with Oscar Saldanha in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Ludomir Kaider sent off a good shot on target. The Squadra Demarchi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Descamisados CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
