In the 2nd minute, Abelardo Pero made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Saldanha. Squadra Demarchi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Marcelino Gartzen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camarón Bombay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 15th minute, Federico Valerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Pir-Sultan Romero hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Sílvio Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Budi Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Gartzen came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Sanches in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Valerio came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Gartzen in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute Federico Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Richard Moura fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Richard Moura a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Richard Moura got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Arruda. The supporters of Camarón Bombay booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Alagoano in the 46th minute of play forced Camarón Bombay's goalkeeper Budi Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Camarón Bombay made a substitution. Zeca de Azevedo replaced Abelardo Pero. The wind increased when Pierluigi Casiraghi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierluigi Casiraghi in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Saldanha saved Squadra Demarchi from getting behind. Budi Martines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Alagoano in the 57th minute of play. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu Sanches in the 59th minute of play. When Ciro Castro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra Demarchi's protests and gave Ciro Castro a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeca de Azevedo. Pierluigi Casiraghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Oscar Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Squadra Demarchi's Rafael da Rocha pulled a muscle in his back after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Pir-Sultan Romero's late challenge caught a Squadra Demarchi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pir-Sultan Romero helped the player get up and apologised. Zeca de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Oscar Saldanha made a huge save. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Sanches in the 73rd minute of play. Oscar Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Zeca de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Squadra Demarchi defense, Zeca de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saldanha. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Zeca de Azevedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 94th playminute. Camarón Bombay played a much better game than Squadra Demarchi and deserved their victory. The Squadra Demarchi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
