Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanio Lezaeta in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathijs Tevreden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naci Ünüvar during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Naci Ünüvar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 9th minute, but Mathijs Tevreden got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving S.C. Potentia hanging dry this time. In the 10th minute Talcampeón FC were awarded a corner. Román Ahrens went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 22 minutes, Lolo Acharan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talcampeón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lolo Acharan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner led Talcampeón FC's Aurelio Paredes to fire away a dangerous shot which Mathijs Tevreden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Alberto Villa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Waterreus's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. With an all-out effort, Talcampeón FC's Mathijs Tevreden threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tanio Lezaeta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Berend Schalken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Mathijs Tevreden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lolo Acharan in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes, Tanio Lezaeta made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.C. In the 66thth minute of the game Lolo Acharan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Potentia's Mathijs Tevreden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Yeray Necochea made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathijs Tevreden was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berend Schalken. Mathijs Tevreden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lolo Acharan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Tanio Lezaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lolo Acharan in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathijs Tevreden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Lolo Acharan came free, but Mathijs Tevreden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92nd play minutes Lolo Acharan shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Mathijs Tevreden and just under the crossbar into goal. Mathijs Tevreden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Talcampeón FC were the better team. Talcampeón FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
