The supporters of Chimborazo A.F.C booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
