With a little luck, IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas got control of the ball when Cao Rong Guang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Brzeźnica Lynx booed when IzmirFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Allbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cao Rong Guang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a huge save. IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Gagriel in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cao Rong Guang. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Allbom in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Cao Rong Guang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brzeźnica Lynx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cao Rong Guang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Gagriel in the 21st minute of play forced IzmirFK's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brzeźnica Lynx's Zenon Brataniec got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With his leg Zydrunas Karcemarskas managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Brzeźnica Lynx's Cao Rong Guang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cao Rong Guang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Ismael Gagriel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Moberg in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Vollander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ismael Gagriel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 67 played minutes IzmirFK got a freekick which was hit by Arne Ulseth. Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Rong Guang, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes IzmirFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zenon Brataniec who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Cao Rong Guang put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zydrunas Karcemarskas. A collision led to IzmirFK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Roland Moberg hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ismael Gagriel sped through IzmirFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zydrunas Karcemarskas. IzmirFK made a substitution. Oskar Thorsberg replaced Gottfrid Allbom. If Cao Rong Guang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brzeźnica Lynx fans cheered their team off the field, for while IzmirFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
