If Saruhan Şenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Saruhan Şenbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Tricolor's goal looked a bit too open when Saruhan Şenbay came free, but Marciano Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Marchidan could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Batıhan Özbil however easily saved by the left post. Batıhan Özbil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Luzea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Marciano Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saruhan Şenbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Kaplan FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Gil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saruhan Şenbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Ecevit Vurgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaplan FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ecevit Vurgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kaplan FK booed when Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Lordi. After recieving a nice pass, Kaplan FK's Bryan Krafft tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Batıhan Özbil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Batıhan Özbil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erkan Eraltay's late challenge caught a Tricolor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erkan Eraltay helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kaplan FK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Erkan Eraltay hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tricolor fully deserved thier win.
