Erivaldo Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saruhan Şenbay in the 12th minute of play. Christian Björling kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Öllsjö FC booed when Kaplan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kaplan FK's zone, Karl-Åke Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıhan Özbil came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Öllsjö FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saruhan Şenbay came free, but Erivaldo Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saruhan Şenbay in the 31st minute of play forced Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Massa in the 32nd minute of play forced Kaplan FK's goalkeeper Batıhan Özbil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kaplan FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Åke Håkansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Öllsjö FC's players had a chance to rest. Öllsjö FC's Karl-Åke Håkansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Batıhan Özbil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saruhan Şenbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batıhan Özbil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Massa in the 80th minute of the match. Leonhard Alvits kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Öllsjö FC's Henry Löfgren was substituted for Folke Gregersson. After a rather tough play, Öllsjö FC's Leonhard Alvits got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Öllsjö FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Algot Odin hit a great ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by Erkan Eraltay from a close distance when the talented Erivaldo Netto managed to make a qualified save. Öllsjö FC's players were relieved. Algot Odin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algot Odin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Algot Odin kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Leonhard Alvits mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Öllsjö FC and the Kaplan FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Öllsjö FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Leonhard Alvits hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Öllsjö FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Kaplan FK for much of the match.
