Juan Musso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendik Bekken in the 23rd minute of play. Jack Berland hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, POPODARA F.C's Bendik Bekken dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 36th minute, Mogel Izcaray made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Revheim. POPODARA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mogel Izcaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Revheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mogel Izcaray's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Juan Musso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gard Bredesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute Mogel Izcaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Revheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mogel Izcaray made a kick off. A collision led to POPODARA F.C getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see POPODARA F.C lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
