The audience was convinced that Armin Stöckl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Hägglund was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 13 minutes, Sivert Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onsala Ass Kickers and the Französisch Buchholz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute of the match Armin Kirchhoff shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Hägglund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when Französisch Buchholz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Stöckl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Uggstedt came free, but Heimko Geisen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Thomas Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Rekawiczka, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After taking down the ball on Französisch Buchholz FC's corner Javier Frexes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Hägglund quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Rekawiczka in the 85th minute of play forced Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Biörkquist during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute of the match Armin Kirchhoff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Hägglund skillfully saved the ball. Jan Björnberg hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Französisch Buchholz FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
