The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ninjas FK's Jorden Blomme quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kamilo Glik, made in the 5th minute of the game. Jorden Blomme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Le Petit having to interfere. Jorden Blomme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pepe Le Petit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Gösta Andreasson managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when TibaDons's Anier Eneko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kamilo Glik got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by John Donnelly. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Emander got free with Gösta Andreasson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ninjas FK's Gösta Andreasson got control of the ball when Ian Emander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gösta Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Eneko in the 28th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Per-Erik Öberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ninjas FK's Gösta Andreasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Per-Erik Öberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gösta Andreasson. 41 minutes into the game, Kamilo Glik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TibaDons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninjas FK the free kick. A collision led to TibaDons getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kamilo Glik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Grep in the 43rd minute of play forced TibaDons's goalkeeper Pepe Le Petit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Björck's late challenge caught a TibaDons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Björck helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Björck hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Gösta Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Grep was the one to do the kick off. Jorden Blomme hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Emander came free, but Gösta Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Le Petit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorden Blomme in the 61st minute. Ninjas FK's Gösta Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eneko in the 73rd minute of play. Gösta Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Emander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Torbjörn Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eneko came free, but Gösta Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Grep struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pepe Le Petit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ninjas FK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Eneko in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Andreasson saved Ninjas FK from getting behind. Gösta Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Donnelly in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TibaDons fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ninjas FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
