In the 79th minute Horia Chioreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Latarețu in the 80th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Chioreanu came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Zbora who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Lucrețiu Sfetcu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Sfetcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hunor Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Latarețu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buffalo Timişoara's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
