Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Koenig in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Charlie Boström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hunor Csapó, 1-0. If Charlie Boström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Boström came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliott Bergsten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hunor Csapó came out and tried to block the shot, but Elliott Bergsten slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Charlie Boström took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Hunor Csapó to make any attempt to save it. Vali Voicescu's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vali Voicescu helped the player get up and apologised. Vali Voicescu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Boström got free with Hunor Csapó in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Lemnaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Boström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ganjar Prabowo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Renan Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buffalo Timişoara. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ganjar Prabowo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Ganjar Prabowo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Lemnaru took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Melo. Renan Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Souza in the 63rd minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 69th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Marino to maneuver through the defense. Buffalo Timişoara's Ionică Buculeasa was substituted for Ganjar Prabowo. Arnulfo Marino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Caetano Pique took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hunor Csapó. In the 90thth minute of the game Ionică Buculeasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ionică Buculeasa made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Renan Melo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
