Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charlie Boström started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 6th minute of the match. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after A.A. Francana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrei Brănescu took the corner. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Costin Malcoci got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Luca Lechințan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Lechințan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Renan Melo 24 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Sfetcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Boström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Lechințan's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 37 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Malcoci. In the 42nd minute A.A. Francana were awarded a corner. Francisco Secco went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led A.A. Francana's Francisco Secco to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucrețiu Sfetcu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elliott Bergsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costin Malcocis short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Renan Melo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Nasta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Malcoci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Renan Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Nasta's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes A.A. Francana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrei Brănescu who took care of the corner kick. Adrian Nasta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With his leg Lucrețiu Sfetcu managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when A.A. Francana's Charlie Boström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 72 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charlie Boström. 74 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Chioreanu came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Boström in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Sfetcu saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. When Caetano Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave Caetano Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Albuquerque. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Caetano Albuquerque hit a great ball. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Nasta in the 81st minute of play. Horia Chioreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Chioreanu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Lucrețiu Sfetcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Chioreanu in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes, Charlie Boström made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bogdan Cucu hit a great ball. Lucrețiu Sfetcu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Secco. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.A. Francana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
