Márton Gombos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Iztal in the 7th minute of play. Bayern Boliviano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cooper Schurter in the 8th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sporting Savaria's goalie and right to Venceslao Abarca. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sporting Savaria's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Bayern Boliviano getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Venceslao Abarca hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Bayern Boliviano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cooper Schurter to maneuver through the defense. Csaba Gyulai kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lajos Laczkó kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 29th play minutes Ramon Iztal shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Márton Gombos and just under the crossbar into goal. Håkan Rudkvist scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Márton Gombos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Håkan Rudkvist put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Márton Gombos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cooper Schurter in the 41st minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Márton Gombos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márton Gombos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cooper Schurter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Laczkó in the 46th minute of play forced Bayern Boliviano's goalkeeper Antonio Giorgio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sporting Savaria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bayern Boliviano were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Iztal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cooper Schurter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Håkan Rudkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Márton Gombos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Iztal in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Ramon Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márton Gombos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Iztal took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Márton Gombos. Márton Gombos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 60 minutes into the game, Heiki Uustal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Antonio Giorgio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adorján Mónos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adorján Mónos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bayern Boliviano booed when Sporting Savaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adorján Mónos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márton Gombos made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Håkan Rudkvist sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Rudkvist scored 1-7 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Márton Gombos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Sporting Savaria's Márton Gombos got control of the ball when Cooper Schurter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Bayern Boliviano's Håkan Rudkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Bayern Boliviano made a substitution. Álvaro Peña replaced Cooper Schurter. After having played for 88 minutes, Ramon Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern Boliviano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bayern Boliviano's Ramon Iztal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kálmán Mbappè during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kálmán Mbappè hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The Bayern Boliviano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bayern Boliviano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
