In the 39th minute, Leopoldo Sustrai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Ryszard Cytrynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazaredo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Cytrynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ryszard Cytrynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romero having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Bergström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Gaxan's late challenge caught a Mazaredo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Gaxan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mazaredo AFC booed when ReAl Coholicos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. ReAl Coholicos's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Bergström in the 60th minute of play. Victorino Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Cibran in the 68th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Jimeno Gaxan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Kelemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 86 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Gaur came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Jorge Calixto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ReAl Coholicos and the Mazaredo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Calixto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ReAl Coholicos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
