In the 10th minute, Kevin Keegan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Valström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute Samim Nevsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Hamrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 慕容 复 in the 20th minute of the match. Georg Norström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 30th minute of play forced TSIGALKO's goalkeeper Kenneth Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Rambert hit a great ball. Kenneth Valström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chen Ao Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Kenneth Valström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 慕容 复, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 慕容 复 in the 60th minute of play. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Jerry Williams replaced Chen Ao Fan. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenneth Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenneth Valström came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Keegan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 87th minute. After 90 played minutes TSIGALKO got a freekick which was hit by Argoitz Darroja. In the 91st minute Jerry Williams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Valström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Jerry Williams recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenneth Valström. Jerry Williams showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Skövde AIK played a much better game than TSIGALKO and deserved their victory. The TSIGALKO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
