With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo Guterres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo Guterres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Caniggia's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniggia in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Benarrivo got free with Ivo Guterres in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes SC Freiburg 09 got a freekick which was hit by Abílio Passos. David Martínez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Isias in the 93rd minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juventus F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
