Spectators: 7642 (Terracing: 5733, Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mihail Pânzaru started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Mihail Pânzaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ioan Voicu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute, Alfred Zbikowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mihail Pânzaru sped through Club Atlético Temperley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ioan Voicu. If Aníbal Solares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Aníbal Solares made a precise shot to the right of Loren Prats. Pegaso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ioan Voicu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mihail Pânzaru sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute of the match Pegaso got a corner. Club Atlético Temperley's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Valery ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pegaso's Jairo Valery to fire away a dangerous shot which Ioan Voicu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pegaso's Loren Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Solares in the 31st minute of play. Cristiano Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Gaston Laurendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loren Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pegaso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jairo Valery in the 44th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Amador Vachon advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Cristiano Correia made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Correia came free, but Loren Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loren Prats acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gaston Laurendi. After 56 played minutes Club Atlético Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Hector Fernandez. Mihail Pânzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pegaso made a substitution. Albano Demesio replaced Mihail Pânzaru. The supporters of Club Atlético Temperley booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Valery in the 70th minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pegaso's Loren Prats got control of the ball when Gaston Laurendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gaston Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Solares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Prats having to interfere. Abel Estavan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Estavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Abel Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loren Prats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Correia in the 86th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pegaso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermengildo Raymon was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Temperley's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Hermengildo Raymon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pegaso's Loren Prats did a great save. Urbano Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Albano Demesio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pegaso's Albano Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
