Alvaro Urre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 5 minutes into the game, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Urre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Pânzaru in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Urre saved Rosario Central from getting behind. Mihail Pânzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas dos Santos got free with Loren Prats in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Ugúrchinski. Amador Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Pegaso defense, Placido Gartzea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loren Prats. The Pegaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loren Prats should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abel Estavan hit a great ball. Douglas dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Loren Prats made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Teodor Ugúrchinski in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pegaso's Silvano Endira. Teodor Ugúrchinski's late challenge caught a Pegaso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Ugúrchinski helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Ugúrchinski. Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Pânzaru in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Pânzaru came free, but Alvaro Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosario Central's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jairo Valery was slow to take the kick. During this time Pegaso's players had a chance to rest. Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Egoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Pânzaru. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pegaso's Urbano Curcio was substituted for Efren Dobale. Pegaso's Albano Demesio was substituted for Mihail Pânzaru. Pegaso were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Rosario Central's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jairo Valery took the corner. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mitxaut Resco hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Rodolfo Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Urbano Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pegaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loren Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Falck in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Urbano Curcio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Urre. The goal made the score 1-4. When Pegaso's Urbano Curcio in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario Central's goalie prevented a goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Amador Vachon heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 87 minutes, Albano Demesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pegaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Demesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes in the game, Albano Demesio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a little luck, Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre got control of the ball when Urbano Curcio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Pegaso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rosario Central.
