The audience was convinced that Antoni Bartoszek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belchior Saldanha was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Sädräddin Cavadov. Umbrella Corporation's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Curado in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Clemente Anaya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Donato, 2-0. Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 21st minute of the match. John Lennon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Belchior Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Antoni Bartoszek sped through La Gallardeta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. 32 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Bruno Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson. 34 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Eliasson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Donato. Jan-Olof Eliasson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Umbrella Corporation's Bruno Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Umbrella Corporation from getting a goal against them. La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi was substituted for Clemente Anaya. Juan Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Umbrella Corporation's Bruno Donato got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Eliasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Olof Eliasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Bartoszek in the 52nd minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Bartoszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 74th minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Bruno Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Bartoszek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Belchior Saldanha made a huge save. Wilfred Vrede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfred Vrede, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Fulgencio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Bruno Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when John Lennon came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 93rd minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Bruno Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfred Vrede took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Donato. Bruno Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Umbrella Corporation players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Gallardeta.
