He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espirillo FC reached it. Espirillo FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC Wrocanka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aaron Cutberto took the corner. The corner ended in Joaquim Fernandes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wrocanka's Beto Santirso did a great save. After some careless play in the FC Wrocanka defense, Joaquim Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Santirso. The FC Wrocanka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Santirso should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sverker Danielsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
