Agustín Di Paolo started the match with the kick off. Horia Voitiş hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredric Melander who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Karl-Oskar Björkdal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Emilian Zdraşcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Post, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 夏天 杨坚 in the 10th minute of play. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Emilian Zdraşcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Melander in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute Fredric Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Zdraşcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Zdraşcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Post in the 37th minute of the match. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Emilian Zdraşcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Post in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Fredric Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Melander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bennvar Post was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, National Team Cape-Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Watarz to maneuver through the defense. 夏天 杨坚's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pål Sefastsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Karl-Oskar Björkdal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Pål Sefastsson came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's 夏天 杨坚. But to his dismay, 夏天 杨坚 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when 夏天 杨坚 came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Zdraşcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes National Team Cape-Verde got a freekick which was hit by Anton Vibjörnsson. After 70 played minutes National Team Cape-Verde got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Watarz. An unexpectedly hard shot by 夏天 杨坚 in the 71st minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Carlos Alberto Tevez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emilian Zdraşcu. The goal made the score 2-2. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Klas Bergqvist took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilian Zdraşcu. Emilian Zdraşcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When 夏天 杨坚 came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 夏天 杨坚 couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, National Team Cape-Verde's Karl-Oskar Björkdal got a free kick in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
